We begin at Man Thai Beach, where fishing boats rest along the shore and the sea breeze sets a calm, unhurried tone for the morning. From there, we ride to the peaceful Linh Ung Pagoda, where the iconic Lady Buddha overlooks the coastline, offering sweeping views of Da Nang from above.
Continuing through Son Tra penisular, we pass Tho Quang Fishing Harbor, a working waterfront that reveals the city’s connection to the sea and its everyday coastal life. The ride then slows at a special local cafe – The Cabin, a hidden, design-led café where you can pause for a carefully made coffee and take in the atmosphere.
Back in the city, we explore the vibrant Dong Da Market, where locals gather to shop, snack, and go about their day. Full of colour, movement, and character, it offers a lively glimpse into daily life in Da Nang.
To finish, we sit down for a bowl of Mi Quang, one of Central Vietnam’s most iconic dishes—simple, rich in flavour, and deeply rooted in the region’s culinary identity.

KIX Tours groups are capped at a maximum of seven guests. This small group size allows us to visit local areas and provide ample interaction without feeling like we are intruding. Plus you’ll get lots of face time with our KIX local hosts! If you are a solo traveler, don’t worry- our Hoi An scooter tours are guaranteed to depart once one person has booked.
Vietnam changes throughout the day, with different markets and different street scenes from one hour to the next- that’s one of the things we love about Hoi An ! So although our stops on this Hoi An Senses are the same, there are some slight differences in what you may see on the morning and the afternoon tours. But regardless of whether you join the morning or the afternoon, you are sure to capture some brilliant photos of local life and your host will share hidden gems of Hoi An that you wouldn’t be able to find on your own!
All KIX scooter tours start with a pick up at your hotel. When booking your tour, please be sure to include the name and address of your hotel or meeting spot in Hoi An so that we can arrange pick up!
