Get ready for a fun, flavour-packed night on two wheels as your local KIX host takes you deep into Hoi An after dark. This evening scooter adventure kicks off at a lively local market, where centuries of trading history meet buzzing stalls and street energy, with a quick taste of traditional rice wine to start the night.
From there, we cruise through town to enjoy a legendary Hoi An bánh mì before “island hopping” by scooter over the Thu Bon River to Cam Nam, soaking up breezy river views and the city’s nighttime vibe.
The ride continues to a street-side BBQ spot, where smoky grills, sizzling skewers and shared plates on tiny plastic stools show you exactly how locals eat, drink and unwind together.
Back on the scooters, we follow lantern-lit streets and quiet riverside scenes, stopping again for classic Hoi An dishes in the middle of everyday local life.
Your host will guide you through hidden backstreets and alleyways to the best lantern photo spots before slowing things down with a cold beer by a small lakeside haunt known only to locals.
To wrap up the night, we head to a lively music bar overlooking the river and Ancient Town, where you can sip a cocktail, enjoy the view and soak up the vibrant energy of Hoi An by night, before being dropped back with great memories and a camera full of glowing moments.

Of course! Our Hoi An Awesome night out is all about what happens when the sun goes down. And while, yes, for many that involves drinking there is also a lot of food, culture and socializing that does not entail booze. So if you don’t drink alcohol, we’ll offer other options- such as sodas, fruit juices or tea- and you’ll still get to taste the amazing dishes and mingle with the locals alongside your local KIX host and fellow travelers.
Absolutely! Although the streets of Hoi An may seem quiet, there is an organized chaos to it all! Our drivers have been cruising these streets their whole lives and also trained to KIX standards of safety- this includes proper following distances between scooters, safe passing techniques, staying under the speed limit and more. As well, we opt for smaller backstreets whenever possible to ensure that we all get from A to B in the safest, most enjoyable way!
